A festive favourite, our boneless chicken roll is made from 100% free-range chicken, expertly deboned and stuffed with our famous pork stuffing. Perfect for 2-3 people, it’s an effortless centerpiece for a flavourful holiday feast!

  • Prep Time: 10-15 minutes.
  • Cooking Time: 40-45 minutes per kg
  •

    Ingredients

    Tools:

    1. Oven
      Preheated to 180°C.

    2. Thermometer Pen
To check the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).

    3. Sharp Knife
For carving the chicken roll into slices.

    4. Carving Fork
To hold the chicken roll securely while slicing.

    5. Netting Removal Tool (Scissors or Sharp Knife)
To carefully remove the netting post-cooking.

    6. Roasting Pan or Tray
To place the chicken roll in the oven.

    Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 180°C. Allowing it to fully preheat ensures even cooking and a beautifully golden result.

    Step 2: Drizzle and Prep

Apply a light drizzle of oil over the chicken roll. This simple step helps the seasoning adhere perfectly and locks in moisture during cooking.

Step 3: Add a Touch of Festive Magic

Generously coat the chicken roll with a poultry rub—a blend of herbs and spices that brings a burst of seasonal flavour to every bite.

Step 4: Into the Oven It Goes

Place the seasoned chicken roll in the oven and roast for 45-55 minutes. For perfection, use a thermometer pen to check that the internal temperature reaches 69-70°C (156-158°F).

    Step 5: Let It Rest

Once out of the oven, allow the chicken roll to rest for 5 minutes. During this time, the residual heat will bring the internal temperature up to the safe level of 74°C (165°F), while the juices redistribute, ensuring moist, tender slices.

Step 6: Gently Remove the Netting

Carefully remove the netting from the chicken roll. Take your time to ensure the seasoning stays on the skin and not on the netting!

Step 7: Carve Like a Pro

Using a carving fork and sharp knife, slice gently to maintain the integrity of the roll. Take your time—your efforts will be worth it!

    Step 8: Perfect Pairings

Serve your beautifully carved chicken roll with cranberry sauce, which adds a festive sweetness to balance the savoury stuffing, or rich turkey gravy for a smooth, hearty finish that enhances every bite.

Enjoy a deliciously stress-free Christmas meal with our Boneless Chicken Roll, made with love and prepared to perfection. Perfect for sharing the festive spirit! 🎄
