How to cook chicken kiev/schnitzel/cordon bleu/mignon

Cooking Instructions for chicken kiev

Oven Baking

  • Thaw in chiller overnight.
  • Coat the cooking tray in cooking oil and preheat oven to 180 degrees for 10minutes.
  • Add the Kiev to the tray (there should be a nice sizzle on contact and throughout cooking process).
  • Cook Kiev for approximately 20 minutes, the crumbs should be turning a nice golden brown.
  • Let rest for 3 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy! 
    (Safe internal temperature for cooked Poultry is 74degrees Celsius).

      Air fryer

  • Thaw in chiller overnight.
  • Preheat Air fryer to 180 degrees for 5minutes.
  • Add the Kiev to the tray
  • Cook Kiev for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Let rest for 3 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

  • Cook schnitzel for approximately 12 minutes turning halfway, the crumbs should be turning a nice golden brown.
  • Let rest for 3 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Shallow Pan fry

  • Thaw in chiller overnight.
  • Coat the pan in Approx 5mm or more of cooking oil and preheat to a medium heat for 5minutes.
  • Add the chicken schnitzel to the pan (there should be a nice sizzle on contact and throughout cooking process).
  • Cook schnitzel for approximately 6 minutes turning halfway, the crumbs should be turning a nice golden brown.
  • Let rest on paper towel to absorb excess oil for 3 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
