How to cook peri peri half bird

 

BBQ

1) Pre heat BBQ to Approx 200-220 degrees Celsius.

2) Remove product from packaging and coat in some cooking oil (this will also help the marinade not stick).

3) Place on BBQ skin side down and cook for 10minutes whilst moving it every 2-3 minutes keeping it on the skin side (this will reduce the skin sticking, to minimise sticking more lay a piece of foil down and cook on that or use an open roasting tray).

4) Turn onto the other side and cook for a further 15min.

5) Rest for 5minutes and enjoy.

note: It is important to keep an eye on the BBQ's temperature so cooking times do not alter dramatically. the most simple way is to monitor the internal temperature with a probe thermometer (safe internal cooked temperature for Poultry is 74 degrees Celsius)

Oven

1) Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius with the cooking tray inside.

2) Remove product from packaging and coat in some cooking oil (this will also help the marinade not stick).

3) Place on cooking tray skin side up and cook for 25 minutes without turning.

4) Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes.

5) Serve and enjoy.

note: safe internal cooked temperature for Poultry is 74 degrees Celsius
