Ham Bag

A ham bag is utilized for storing your Christmas ham in the chiller. Dip the ham bag into a solution of 2 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar, squeeze out the excess moisture, and place the ham in the bag. Rinse and redip your bag in water and vinegar every 3 days or as needed.

Store in the coldest part of your chiller; a leg ham on the bone can last up to 3 weeks following this method. Ensure that your chiller is operating at under 4 degrees Celsius to achieve these results.
